NOrth Corktown Pocket Park

Completed in Fall of 2024 as part of TodaysHousing Innovation Showcase, Citizen Robotics 3D printed 130 unique concrete permeable pavers. Contributing to this newly revitalized block the pocket park serves as a public space for all to enjoy. When approached to design and produce these pavers for the proposed pocket park we couldn’t have been more excited! Building on our previous experience designing and manufacturing permeable pavers for the 18th St. Design Build Green Hub we knew how impactful these would be to both create space and allow rainwater to permeate. The pavers were scaled up from our previous project and we almost doubled in quantity. On average the pavers measured 24”x24” and weighed around 100lbs. The layout of the park was conceived by Subject Studio but we were able to meet their design requirements using our parametric software to create the infill pattern for the walkway. We also designed three matching benches to add some seating to the landscape. Thank you to our printing partner Printera for producing these benches!
